Algimantas Chesonis

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Algimantas (Al) Chesonis, has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Sweetwater since February 2019, and was previously Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Chesonis leads all aspects of accounting, treasury, tax, financial reporting and human resources. Prior to Sweetwater, Mr. Chesonis served as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller of PAETEC Holding since March 2007. Mr. Chesonis served as Senior Vice President and Controller as well as Vice President of Finance and Controller PAETEC from July 1998 to August 2004. At PAETEC, Mr. Chesonis led all aspects of accounting and financial reporting. Mr. Chesonis previously served as Director of Public Reporting for US Foodservice and Audit Manager for the international accounting firm of PriceWaterhouse, LLP.

Mr. Chesonis received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a recipient of the 2004 Rochester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award recognizing his exceptional community involvement and charitable contributions accomplished while holding a thriving career in Accounting and Management.

Board, Community, and Charitable Pursuits

Mr. Chesonis serves on the Board of Directors of Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, University of Rochester Medical Center. Additionally, he is an active volunteer and chairs the Advisory Board for the Perinton Recreation & Parks Department.
