Sweetwater Named One of the 50 Most Promising Privately Held Green Tech Companies in New York

Sweetwater Energy was named to the 2012 New York Green Tech 50 list, which highlights the most promising, fastest-growing, and potentially market-leading private New York based companies that are focusing their efforts on green technology.

200 companies were nominated by the end, 72 percent of which are currently in the seed stage, acquiring angel investment or government grant funding only. The list of 50 companies is a diverse group, made up of materials companies, renewable energy companies, energy storage companies, and Green IT/Cleanweb companies.
